The Peacemaker Hub was established by Dorothy Alofivae, an experienced disputes resolution specialist in mediation and restorative practice
She has a practical and thoughtful approach that can make a difference for parties in a dispute.
Dorothy specialises in a variety of areas, including Workplace disputes, Health & Safety, ACC claims, Community disputes, Consumer Contracts, Restorative Justice and Family disputes (FDR).
Dorothy has a legal background, and works across several different ADR spaces, including as an adjudicator, and experienced mediator. She is a professional panel member of Resolution Institute (LEADR), the Independent Complaint Review Authority (ICRA), and the Family Dispute Resolution Center.
She is also a Restorative Practitioner, and is an accredited Restorative Justice Facilitator, a member of the Auckland Restorative Justice Trust, and a Restorative Justice Assessor.
Dorothy see’s her vocation as a peacemaker, she focusses on helping people in conflict to sit down and have an honest and courageous conversation about what really matters, restoring mana and navigating through the road blocks for parties to reach their own satisfactory outcomes.
